Our attachment to the myth of rural America persists. Folksy romanticized imagery is used as a marketing tool, often hiding deep nostalgia for a way of life that is quickly disappearing. It is this curious mix of kitsch and melancholy that inspired this sympathetic and sometimes humorous look at a way of life and a landscape in transition.
